Description
English: Plaque commemorating the displacement of the University from Nagyszombat (today Trnava, Slovakia) to Buda in 1777, affixed to the wall of the Hungarian National Gallery. The University has worked seven years in the Buda Castle. (Budapest, District I, Szent György Square Nr 2)
Français : Plaque commémorant le déplacement de l’Université de Nagyszombat (aujourd’hui Trnava, Slovaquie) à Buda en 1777, apposée sur le mur de la Galerie nationale hongroise. L’université foncionnat pendant sept ans dans le château de Buda. (2, place Szent György, Budapest, 1er arr.)
Magyar: A Nagyszombati Egyetem 1777. évi Budára költöztetésére emlékeztető tábla a Magyar Nemzeti Galéria falán. Az egyetem hét éven át működött a Budavári Palotában. (Budapest, I. ker. Szent György tér 2.)
