[edit]DescriptionHunter wv318 static kemble arp.jpg |
Hawker Hunter T.7 at Kemble Air Day 2008, Kemble Airport, Gloucestershire, England. RAF registration WV318, now civil registered as G-FFOX and owned by Delta Jets of Kemble. Manufactured as a single seat F.4 at Hawker’s Kingston plant (England), it was delivered to the British Royal Air Force in 1955.
It was converted to a T.7 two-seat trainer in (approx) 1957 and then in 1964 to a T.7A. Just before retirement from the RAF WV318 was painted in the colours of the Black Arrows aerobatics team (but was not used by them). It was bought by Delta Jets in 1996 and restored. It now flies at air events all over the UK.
Note that Delta Jets website says it’s a T.7A but most other internet resources say it’s a T.7B. |
