| Description | Shown is a HAMM IC roller; the roller made nine passes across the mat to achieve required compaction as part of a FHWA, Highways for LIFE (HfL) supported VTrans demonstration project to rehabilitate 3 segments of US 4A and VT 30 using innovative technologies (warm-mix asphalt, intelligent compaction, Safety Edge℠). The display screen on the roller was used by the operator to monitor the temperatures, number of passes and overlap or coverage, and IC stiffness value. |
