English: Performance Video Art by Ra’al Ki Victorieux (Sugar Bloom Iris), concerning the role of women, their semiotics, and intra-family violence caused by alcoholism. Mexico. 2012
The photograph is a still from the video, and the shot is by Oscar Salom Freixas Venus Genetrix is an experiment of experiences, a deliberate Venusian provocation. Combination of documentary, interview, performance. Stories intersect: the conference about gender-based violence that an American marriage imparts – a police officer and the director of an NGO -, a performative interview of Sugar on the stairs, in which she talks about the answers from her Facebook followers to the question: “How would you seduce Iris?”, poetic performances, or pin-up style, images of works, personal and professional memorabilia, radio interview and tips for love, seduction and sexuality. In this way, she invites us on a trip through different perspectives of the feminine.Español: Performance Video Arte por Ra’al Ki Victorieux (Sugar Bloom Iris), en relación al rol de la mujer, su semiótica, y la violencia intrafamiliar causada por el alcoholismo. México. 2012.
La fotografía es un still del video, y la toma es de Oscar Salom Freixas Venus Genetrix es un experimento de experiencias, una deliberada provocación venusina. Combinación de documental, entrevista, performance. Se entrecruzan historias: la conferencia en relación con la violencia de género que imparte un matrimonio norteamericano -un oficial de policía y la directora de una ong-, una entrevista performática de Sugar en la escalera, en la que ella conversa en torno a las respuestas de sus seguidores de Facebook a la pregunta: “¿Cómo seducirías a Iris?”, performances poéticos, o estilo pin-up, imágenes de obras, memorabilia personal y profesional, entrevista de radio y tips para el amor, la seducción y la sexualidad. De esta forma nos invitan a un viaje por diversas perspectivas de lo femenino. |
