Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Leading End Effector (LEE) is the portion of the Canadarm2 robotic arm that captures visiting cargo craft such as Northrop Grumman's Cygnus space freighter when commanded by an astronaut aboard the International Space Station. Mission controllers on the ground then take over and remotely guide the Canadarm2, with the captured cargo craft in the LEE's grip, and carefully install the vehicle to common berthing mechanisms on the orbiting lab.
