| Description | Since taking the Billy Bishop Toronto City airport shuttle to the airport at the fag end of Ward's Island was not an option, I decided on the more sensible and enjoyable (and probably the only) option of taking a ferry for the short 15min trip across the bay. So here I am heading to the Jack Layton Ferry Terminal on Toronto's waterfront. Notes about the ferry terminal in the next image. I'm headed to Ward's Island for it's pristine beauty and pure natural surroundings and also to catch the 'classic Toronto skyline' view. I'd been in town for four days, was leaving the next day in the am and couldn't possibly leave the town without achieving that! (Toronto, Canada, Nov.2015) |
