Español: A finales del siglo XV, el Arzobispado de Sevilla decide sustituir la obra de los siglos XIII y XIV. Trazada por el maestro del gótico Alonso Rodríguez, o su anterior Juan de Hoces, alcanzará su última fase constructiva a principios del XVII, a causa de problemas financieros y a la guerra con Portugal.
