Description
Português: Estátua do Apóstolo São Tiago Maior em frente à Igreja Matriz Imaculada Conceição, em Águas de São Pedro, Brasil. No pedestal abaixo da estátua, há os seguintes dizeres:

São Tiago ("Mayor")
"Camínante (sic), no hay Camino.
Apóstolo
Se hace el camino al Andar"
CAMINHO DO SOL

Os versos em espanhol são baseados nos versos da estrofe vinte e nove do poema Proverbios y cantares, do livro Campos de Castilla, de autoria do poeta espanhol Antonio Machado. Os versos originais são: "caminante, no hay camino, / se hace camino al andar.", que significam: "caminhante, não há caminho, se faz caminho ao andar." O Caminho do Sol é um caminho preparatório aos Caminhos de Santiago.

English: Statue of the Apostle Saint James in front of the Immaculate Conception Mother Church, in Águas de São Pedro, Brazil. In a pedestal under the statue, there are the following sentences:

WAY OF THE SUN

The verses in Spanish are based on the verses from the strophe twenty-nine of the poem Proverbios y cantares, from the book Campos de Castilla, written by the Spanish poet Antonio Machado. The original verses are: "caminante, no hay camino, / se hace camino al andar.", that means: "wanderer, there is no road, the road is made by walking." The Way of the Sun is a preparatory way to the Way of St. James.

The sign in the column at the right side of the image says:
