Italiano: Il Paradisino fa parte del circuito delle cappelle, raggiungibile direttamente dall’Abbazia seguendo la “Scala Santa”, l’antico l’itinerario di pellegrinaggio che porta all’Eremo del Paradisino, toccando la Cappella del Masso di San Giovanni Gualberto e la Cappella delle Colonne. Il Paradisino è un luogo legato agli inizi della vita monastica a Vallombosa quando fu l’eremo di monaci particolarmente desiderosi di solitudine e di intimità con Dio. Oggi è una sede didattica per gli studenti di Scienze Forestali dell’Università di Firenze.
English: “Scala Santa”, the ancient pilgrimage itinerary that leads to the Hermitage of Paradisino, touching the Chapel of the Masso di San Giovanni Gualberto and the Chapel of the Columns. Il Paradisino is a place linked to the beginnings of monastic life in Vallombosa when it was the hermitage of monks particularly eager for solitude and intimacy with God. Today it is a teaching center for students of Forestry Sciences of the University of Florence. |
