| Description |
Discovering a lighthouse just a few miles south of half moon bay, i pulled over and surveyed the light outside hoping to see the milky way. a fog bank blanketed the coast and hid the stars. I waited a bit and luckily the bank began to fade moving rapidly eastward, creating dramatic movement as it began to disappear revealing the stars and cosmic center of the milky way. It wasn't until uploading at home when i noticed the beautiful contrast and color between the center of the milky way and the beacon from the lighthouse, combined with amber light pollution from santa cruz along the horizon. If you look closely you will see faint hues of green Airglow throughout the sky also. The Sky was alive with geomagnetic energy and the light of the cosmos.
