Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Looking at the southeast corner of the north end of Independent Way and New York State Route 312 in the Town of Southeast, New York. Independent Way is the road leading to the Southeast Metro-North Railroad station, which was built in 1980 by the MTA as a long overdue replacement for the former Dykeman's New York Central Railroad station near the grade crossing with NY 312 itself. Across from this intersection are the eastbound on-and-off-ramps from Exit 65 (formerly Exit 19) on Interstate 84.
