Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin Nederlands: Het onderhouden van een eigen houtblazersensemble was heel gebruikelijk bij de Oostenrijkse adel in de tweede helft van de achttiende eeuw. Denk maar aan de slotscène van de opera 'Don Giovanni', waarin de titelheld zijn diner laat opluisteren door een harmonie die arrangementen van populaire aria's speelt. Naast bewerkingen van populaire opera-aria's werden er ook originele serenades gecomponeerd, vaak niet meer dan luchtige stukjes achtergrondmuziek voor een of andere gelegenheid. Niet zo bij Mozart, die zijn serenades liet uitgroeien tot verheven kunstmuziek. De schitterende blazers van Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin verwennen u met twee van de mooiste werken ooit uit het genre: de plechtige 'Nacht Musique' en de adembenemende 'Gran Partita'. Dit is werkelijk Mozart op zijn best, met kleurrijke instrumentatie en meesterlijk contrapunt. In de 'Gran Partita' kiest hij bovendien voor een luxueuze bezetting van zes paar blazers en een contrabas die de baslijn versterkt, een onbetwist meesterwerk dat niet mocht ontbreken in deze 'Mozart con brio'. Les excellents instrumentistes à vent de l'Akademie für Alte Musik Berlin vous gâtent en interprétant deux des plus belles œuvres du genre, la solennelle ' Nacht Musique ' et l'époustouflante ' Gran Partita '. Voici Mozart à son pinacle, avec des orchestrations chatoyantes et un contrepoint magistral. De plus, pour la ' Gran Partita ', il fait le choix d'un effectif opulent composé de six paires d'instruments à vent et d'une contrebasse renforçant la ligne de basse. This really is Mozart at his best, with colourful instrumentation and masterful counterpoint. In the 'Gran Partita' he also opts for a luxurious combination of six pairs of woodwind players, and a double bass to strengthen the bass line.
