Altenberg Trio Wien Nederlands: 'Muziek is: alsof de ziel plots in een vreemde taal haar eigen taal spreekt!' Een prachtige uitspraak van de Weense dichter Peter Altenberg (1859-1919) en meteen ook het motto van het Altenberg Trio. Altenberg staat tegelijk symbool voor de liefde voor schoonheid, het nemen van risico's, stilistische precisie én humor. Allemaal eigenschappen die bij de drie musici van het Altenberg Trio in overvloed aanwezig zijn. En die ook in dit programma goed tot uiting komen. Van de evenwichtige klassieke vormen bij Haydn over contrastrijke dramatiek en klankschoonheid bij Schumann tot de satirische knipogen van Schnittke. In een apart lecture recital de avond vóór dit concert ontrafelt het Altenberg Trio de partituur van Dvoráks Dumky Trio. U komt er alles te weten over het ontstaan van het werk, Dvoráks folkloristische inspiratie en zijn zoektocht naar nieuwe vormen en klankkleuren. Het Altenberg Trio sluit haar residentie in deSingel af met masterclasses, een weekend lang, waarbij de musici verschillende kamermuziekensembles met raad en daad bijstaan Français : 'La musique est: comme si dans une langue étrangère, l'âme parlait subitement sa propre langue!' Des paroles merveilleuses du poète viennois Peter Altenberg (1859-1919) et également la devise du Trio Altenberg. Altenberg incarne en même temps l'amour pour la beauté, l'audace, la précision stylistique et l'humour. Toutes des caractéristiques abondamment présentes chez les trois musiciens du Trio Altenberg, et qui dans ce programme-ci, sont également particulièrement évidentes. Des formes classiques équilibrées chez Haydn en passant par la dramatique riche en contrastes et la beauté sonore chez Schumann jusqu'aux clins d'œil satyriques de Schnittke. Dans une lecture récital séparée donnée la veille de ce concert, le Trio Altenberg analysera en détail la partition du Trio Dumky de Dvorák.Vous y apprendrez tout sur l'origine de l'œuvre, sur l'inspiration folklorique de Dvorák et sur sa recherche de nouveaux timbres et formes. Pendant tout un week-end, le Trio Altenberg terminera sa résidence à deSingel avec des masterclasses, où les musiciens prodigueront des conseils et donneront des démonstrations à différents ensembles de musique de chambre.
