B'Rock Orchestra & Nederlands Kamerkoor olv. Peter Dijkstra - Mozart, Schubert, Forte Nederlands: Over Mozarts ‘Requiem’ zijn al bibliotheken vol geschreven. Het werk is dan ook gehuld in een waas van mysterie: van de onbekende opdrachtgever die een onnoemelijk groot bedrag voor het manuscript had neergeteld, tot het feit dat Mozart stierf nog vóór hij de laatste noot kon neerpennen. Mozarts ultieme en onvoltooide werk zal wellicht nooit zijn geheimen prijsgeven. Muzikaal is dit legendarische meesterwerk ongetwijfeld één van de grootste mijlpalen in de muziekgeschiedenis. Een mijmering over leven en dood, die niemand onberoerd laat. Dirigent Peter Dijkstra koos voor dit concert aantrekkelijke complementen: het recente dubbelkorige ‘Libera Me’ van Nana Forte en het kleine ‘Stabat Mater’ van Schubert, waarbij je eerder zou denken dat het een onbekend Bachwerk is. Il faut dire que l'œuvre est baignée de mystère, depuis le commanditaire inconnu ayant payé une véritable fortune pour le manuscrit jusqu'à la mort de Mozart avant qu'il n'ait pu écrire la dernière note. L'ultime œuvre de Mozart, qu'il n'a pas pu achever lui-même, ne livrera sans doute jamais ses secrets. Du point de vue musical, le chef-d'œuvre légendaire est incontestablement l'un des sommets de l'histoire de la musique, une méditation sur la vie et la mort qui ne laisse personne insensible. Le chef d'orchestre Peter Dijkstra a choisi de le compléter lors ce concert par deux œuvres attachantes, le récent « Libera Me » de Nana Forte pour double chœur et le petit « Stabat Mater » de Schubert, qui ressemblerait plutôt à une composition inconnue de Bach. English: Whole libraries have been written about Mozart’s ‘Requiem’. The work is also shrouded in a haze of mystery: from the unknown client who paid an immensely high sum for the manuscript, to the fact that Mozart died before he was able to compose the final note. Mozart’s ultimate and unfinished work will probably never reveal its secrets. Musically, this legendary masterpiece is undoubtedly one of the greatest milestones in musical history. A reverie about life and death that leaves no one unmoved. Conductor Peter Dijkstra has selected some attractive complementary works for this concert: the recent double-choir ‘Libera Me’ by Nana Forte and Schubert’s short ‘Stabat Mater’, which you could easily mistake for an unknown work by Bach. |
