Description
日本語: かつて中ノ口川大橋の左岸側に設置されていた、1963年（昭和38年）に起きた水難事故の慰霊碑の碑文。黒埼中学校に在学していた女子生徒3名が亡くなった。慰霊碑は1966年（昭和41年）建立。現在は新潟市西区の板井公民館の敷地内に移設されている。
English: Inscription on the cenotaph for a water accident that occurred in 1963, which used to be located on the left bank of the Nakanokuchigawa-ōhashi Bridge. Three girls who were enrolled in a junior high school died. The cenotaph was erected in 1966. It has now been moved to the premises of the Itai Community Center in Nishi-ku, Niigata City.
