Février, James Germain (1966). "Inscriptions puniques et néopuniques". Études d'Antiquités africaines. 1 (1): 88–89, Pl. II.

English: A Punic (Phoenician) inscription from Volubilis, with a double circle (a shield with an umbo?) felief. One or two lines are missing at the beginning. The reading is difficult, and it might be:

[... š]pṭ bn špṭ lʾdnʾ tdršʾ t.nʿm

tšʿmrnʾ bgwd
עברית: כתובת כנענית (פיניקית/פונית) מוולוביליס שבמרוקו, עם תבליט של מעגל כפול (מגן עם בליטת־מגן?). שורה או שתיים חסרות בראש המצבה. הקריאה קשה, וכנראה יש לקרוא: "[ש]פט בן שפט לאדנא תדרשא ת.נעם / תשעמרנא בגוד"
Español: Inscripción púnica descubierta en superficie en el sector del túmulo de Volubilis. Finales del siglo II a. C. Estela funeraria que lleva un motivo (identificado como un escudo?). No subsiste de la inscripción más dos líneasː «estela que ha dedicado [...] hijo de [...] el sufete que murió en una vejez feliz a la edad de 90 años. Es originario de QFGWD».
Français : Detail de inscription punique découverte en surface dans le secteur du tumulus de Volubilis. Fin du IIe siécle avant J.-C. Stèle funeraire portant un motif identié à un bouclier. Il ne subsiste de l'inscription que les deux dernières lignes:
«stèle qu'a voué [...] fils de [...] le suffète qui est mort dans une vieillesse heureuse à l'âge de 90 ans. Il est originaire de QFGWD»,

ou:

«[Stèle qu'a vouée X... fils de] Saphot à son seigneur. Tu prendras soin de lui, tu...,
tu le protégeras dans la guerre.»
