English: Interior of St Mary's Church in Winterborne Whitechurch, looking east. Chancel dating c. 1200. 15th century central tower. Crossing rebuilt in early 14th century (a former central tower may have collapsed). Mid-15th century south chapel on the site of the former south transept. The nave completely rebuilt in 1844, when the north and south aisles, and a south porch were added, (architect Benjamin Ferrey). |
