Description
English: Interiors of the Prayer hall in the premises of the Enchey Monastery in Gangtok district, East Sikkim. Enchey Monastery was developed into a full-fledged monastery in the year 1840 from an old shrine build by a saint named Drubthob Karpo. During the reign of 10th Chhogyal Sidkyong Tulku (1879-1914), it was rebuilt in the year 1908, in its present shape, which is an artistic adaptation of Chinese Temple of Gyanak Riwo Tsenga. It belongs to the Nyingma order of Vajrayana Buddhism.
