伊奴寝子社(いぬねこしゃ)
　蚕神社(かいこじんじゃ)

一、御祭神 保食神（うけもちのかみ）

　かつて畜産や養蚕が盛んな頃、当社(座間神社)の境内に家畜などを疫病
から守護する蚕神社（伊奴寝子社）が祀られていました。
　古くよりこの社にお参りすると願いが叶えられるという篤い
信仰が伝えられていましたが、いつしか時代が変遷して現代で
は多くの人が、愛するわが子同様に家族の一員として犬や猫と
生活を共にしており、人間の家族以上に愛情を注ぐ人も少なく
ありません。
　この社は、大切なペットの健康や幸せを願い、疫病や怪我の
回復を祈り、事故などに遭遇しないための全ての愛しい生き物
たちをお守りするための社です。
　また、「犬」「猫」像を手の平でさすると願いが叶えられます。

　　お気軽に犬や猫などペットとご一緒にご参拝下さい。

Kaiko-jinja shrine had been enshrined here once in our shrine(Zama-shrine) precincts for the purpose of protecting domestic animals from an epidemic, when the livestock industry and sericulture were prosperous.
Ardent faith that a wish was granted when you prayed at this Kaiko-jinja shrine was handed down from old days by people.
The times change gradually, and many people live together with dogs and cats as a member of the families like their beloved child in the present age, and there are a lot of people who have affections for dogs and cats than a human family.
In hope of health and the happiness of an important pet, you and we pray for the recovery of an epidemic and the injury and not to meet with accidents, Inu-neko-sha is a Shinto shrine to pray in order to shield and protect all dear animals from those troubles.
In addition, a wish is granted when you rub a "dog" or "cat" statue with a palm.

Please go and worship with the pet including dogs and cats willingly.
