עברית: נשיא המדינה יצחק הרצוג ורעייתו מיכל, במרכז הרפואי ׳סורוקה׳ בבאר שבע. הם ביקרו את הפצועות והפצועים המאושפזים במרכז הרפואי ׳סורוקה׳ בבאר שבע. אל ביקורם התלווה מנהל בית החולים, ד״ר שלומי קודש. עם הגעתם, נפגשו הנשיא ורעייתו עם אלמה אברהם אשר נחטפה בשבעה באוקטובר מביתה בנחל עוז, ושוחחרה משבי החמאס, במסגרת עסקת החטופים בסוף חודש נובמבר. נשיא המדינה ורעייתו שמחו לראות את השיפור הניכר במצבה הרפואי של אלמה ששבה ארצה במצב קשה מאוד, והתרגשו לשמוע את סיפורה המתאר את הליך שיקומה. במהלך ביקורם, התרשמו נשיא המדינה ורעייתו מנחישותם וגבורתם של האזרחים ואנשי כוחות הביטחון אשר נפצעו במתקפת הטרור האכזרית של ארגון החמאס. בסיום, נפגשו הנשיא ורעייתו עם כ-200 אנשי סגל בית החולים ויחד קיימו שיח פתוח על תפעול בית החולים וההתמודדות עם האתגרים הרפואיים בעקבות פרוץ המלחמה. מרכז הרפואי ׳סורוקה׳ בבאר שבע. יום שלישי, ד' באדר א' תשפ"ד, 13 בפברואר 2024. קרדיט צילום: מעיין טואף/לע"מ.
