עברית: נשיא המדינה יצחק הרצוג בבסיס "תל נוף" של חיל האוויר בליווי מפקד חיל האוויר אלוף עמיקם נורקין.
בתחילת הביקור סקר הנשיא משמר כבוד שכלל את פורום המפקדים של החיל ואת חייליו. לאחר מכן קיבל סקירה אודות האתגרים העומדים בפני החיל בעת הנוכחית מפי מפקד חיל האוויר וסייר בטייסת ״חוד החנית״ המפעילה את מטוסי ה״בז״. עוד המשיך הנשיא את ביקורו וצפה בתצוגת יכולות בה הוצגו בין היתר מטוסי קרב מסוג ״אדיר״ ו״בז״, מסוק "יסעור" והסבר מפי לוחמי יחידת החילוץ הטקטית 669 וצוותי האוויר של המסוק, לאחר מכן הוצגו לנשיא החימושים בהם משתמש חיל האוויר. בתערוכה הוצג בפני הנשיא גם כטמ"מ – כלי טיס מאויש מרחוק, מסוג ״איתן״ Heron TP שהוא פיתוח משותף של חיל האוויר, התעשייה האווירית, ומשרד הביטחון.
עוד ביקר הנשיא בטייסת "ברון אדום", טייסת משותפת לחילות האוויר הישראלי והגרמני, בה לומדים אנשי חיל האוויר הגרמני, מאנשי חיל האוויר הישראלי, להפעיל את כלי הטיס המאויישים מרחוק.
במהלך הביקור שיחזרו הנשיא ומפקד חיל האויר תמונה של אביו, הנשיא השישי של מדינת ישראל, חיים הרצוג ז״ל על גבי מטוס חיל האוויר. בתמונה המקורית הצטלם אביו של הנשיא יחד עם מפקד חיל האוויר דאז, אלוף במיל׳ הרצל בודינגר יחד עם מפקדי החיל. בסוף הביקור העניקו לנשיא את התמונה המקורית לצד התמונה המשוחזרת כמחווה.
בטרם צאתו מהבסיס הגיע נשיא המדינה לבית הכנסת בבסיס "תל נוף", הקרוי על שם סבו, הרב יצחק הרצוג. יום שלישי, י"ג בחשון תשפ"ב, 19 באוקטובר 2021. קרדיט צילום: עמוס בן גרשום/ לע״מ.
