עברית: נשיא המדינה יצחק הרצוג באתר הזיכרון במחנה הריכוז ברגן-בלזן לצד נשיא גרמניה, פרנק-ואלטר שטיינמאייר ונשיא המחוז מיכאל קרצ׳מר (אנ'). בפתח הביקור, נשיא המדינה ונשיא גרמניה הניחו זר למרגלות האנדרטה שבאתר. לאחר הנחת הזרים פנו הנשיאים לאנדרטת היהודים שהוקמה לאחר המלחמה על ידי ניצולי המחנה. נשיא מדינת ישראל נשא תפילת ״קדיש״ לזכרם של הנספים בשואה, באופן דומה לאביו, הנשיא השישי חיים הרצוג ז״ל, אשר הגיע לברגן בלזן במסגרת ביקורו הממלכתי בגרמניה בשנת 1987, כנשיא ישראל הראשון לבקר בה. את תפילת ״אל מלא רחמים״ נשא הרב יענקל לנגיאל, אשר השתתף גם בטקס הזיכרון במחנה הריכוז ברגן-בלזן בביקור הממלכתי של שנת 1987. לאחר מכן הקריאו צעירי האזור, גרמנים ויהודים, קטעים מיומנה של אנה פרנק, שנספתה במחנה בשנת 1945. לאחר מכן נפגשו השניים עם ניצולי המחנה שהגיעו במיוחד למפגש המרגש: אלברכט ויינברג, יֹוָן רייס, נעמי רינת, מנחם ז' רוזנזפט ויוכבד ריץ-אולווסקי. יום שלישי, י׳ באלול תשפ"ב, 6 בספטמבר 2022. קרדיט צילום: עמוס בן גרשום/ לע״מ. |
