Seaver Center for Western History Research - The Seaver Center for Western History Research is the two-dimensional and flat objects collection area of the History Department of the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles. Our purpose is to collect, preserve, and make available to the general public research materials documenting the history of the trans-Mississippi West, with special emphasis on Southern California and Los Angeles. Date Created Circa 1916 Copy of Photographs: Author will use copy of the photograph (“Image”) listed below from the Museum’s Photographic Collections for use in a Wikipedia article on famous film orangutan “Joe Martin” 1) P-010-Box 19-07 Isadore Bernstein with Orangutan To the extent it has the right to do so, the Museum hereby grants to the Author a non-exclusive one-time license to reproduce the Image in the following media in English in the Wikipedia website. Without the additional written consent of Museum, the Author shall not reproduce the Image for any other purpose, including for advertising, publicity or for publication in any other medium. The Museum makes no representation as to the ownership of the copyrights to the Image and the Author assumes all responsibility for determining the copyright for the Image.
