Summary[edit]

Description

Betelgeuse, in the constellation of Orion, was once the eleventh-brightest star in the night sky. It's dimming. It's a nearby red supergiant about to go supernova. No danger to us earthlings, but you will see it when it goes. This try is out of focus.

Of note, Betelgeuse is much brighter in the near infrared than the naked eye.

Soft focus due to operator error. The "clouds" are clouds. I'm going to try get shot right, so that I might do a before and after the supernova (assuming the supernova happens in my lifespan).
