Description
English: Italian trainers show Peshmerga soldiers the basic components of an improvised explosive device during a counter-IED class near Erbil, Iraq, Oct. 2, 2016. Counter-IED training teaches Peshmerga soldiers how to safely interact with and render IEDs harmless. This training is part of Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve’s overall building partner capacity mission to increase the security capacity of Iraqi security forces fighting the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
