Summary[edit]

Description
English: Carte de visite showing a steamer of the Oregon Steam Navigation Company alongside a wharfboat on the Columbia river. This is probably at the portage railroad around the Cascade Rapids. The 4-4-0 locomotive J.S. Ruckel is also shown. This is estimated to be circa 1875. Possibly the steamer is the Oneonta.
