Description
English: c/n 784. JNR serial 409. Completed by Nippon Rolling Stock Nagoya Factory in 23rd April 1940. In 1975, retired and stored. Moved to front of Kōsei Sta. Later, moved to Yamazaki Mazak, Minokamo. On display at The Yamazaki Mazak Museum of Machine Tools, Minokamo, Gifu. 25th March 2021
日本語: 1940年4月23日に日本車輌名古屋工場で完成された車体。製造番号は784、車体番号は409。4月27日に名古屋局配属で富山区へ配置されたのち、静岡、広島第一、岡山、新見の各区を異動。集煙装置を取り付けたのち、米子への貸し出しを経て新見区から浜田区へ移り、浜田区で廃車となった。1976年には天王寺鉄道管理局長と滋賀県甲西町長との間で無償貸与の契約が締結され、集煙装置を取り外して1978年から甲西町の甲賀ファミリーランドで展示開始となった。10年後に甲西駅前へ移設されたが、20年後の駅付近の再開発事業で撤去され、ヤマザキ マザックが引き取った。2008年から保管・整備を受け、2019年に開館した美濃加茂市前平町のヤマザキ マザック工作機械博物館に展示されている。
