Title |
Jackson Street Regrade from 6th Ave. S. trestle, June 10, 1908 |
|||||||||||||||||||||||
Description |
Transcribed from photograph: "Jackson St. regrade looking north from trestle on 6th Ave. So. 40 ft. above low tide at present. June 10, 1908." King Street station appears on the left with the Smith Tower under construction to it's right. The King County Courthouse appears at the top of the hill and Holy Names Academy is on the far right. It can't be the Smith Tower under construction in 1908 (work began in 1912). Pretty sure it's the Frye Hotel. |
