Description
English: Jacobus van Rensselaer (1713-1762) portrait. This is probably a portrait of Jacobus Van Rensselaer, formerly misidentified as Killiaen Van Rensselaer. Jacobus was the son of Killiaen, the fourth patroon and second lord of the Manor of Rensselaerswyck, and his wife, Maria Van Cortlandt. He is the brother of Jan Baptist Van Rensselaer (1717-1763).
