Summary[edit]

Description
English: Amligola Street is a street located in the Puran Dhaka area of Bangladesh's capital city, Dhaka. Puran Dhaka is known for its rich historical and cultural heritage, with numerous old buildings, narrow streets, and bustling markets. Amligola Street, like many other streets in Puran Dhaka, is known for its vibrant atmosphere and traditional charm.

The area surrounding Amligola Street is densely populated and filled with residential buildings, shops, and small businesses. It is a busy and bustling street, especially during peak hours, as people go about their daily activities, and vendors set up their stalls selling various goods and merchandise.

Puran Dhaka itself is renowned for its historical significance, as it was the old part of the city and served as the capital of Bengal during the Mughal and British colonial periods. It houses many architectural gems, including centuries-old mosques, temples, and historic landmarks such as Lalbagh Fort, Ahsan Manzil (Pink Palace), and Armenian Church.

Visitors to Amligola Street and Puran Dhaka can experience the authentic flavors of traditional Bangladeshi cuisine, explore narrow alleyways filled with shops selling handicrafts, textiles, and other local products, and soak in the vibrant atmosphere of this historic neighborhood
