Description
English: Jagiellonian tapestry of Sigismund II Augustus (King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania) with Polish Eagle and Lithuanian Vytis (Waykimas), manufactured in Brussels, Flanders, circa 1560, exhibited in the green room of the Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania in Vilnius in 2023. The Lithuanian Vytis (Waykimas) is decorated with Gediminas' Cap and the Polish Eagle is decorated with Polish crown. Moreover, the Polish Eagle has the Monogram of Sigismund II Augustus (SA) on his chest and in the centre there is goddess Victoria.
Lietuvių: Lietuvos Didžiosios Kunigaikštystės valdovų rūmų žaliajame kambaryje Vilniuje eksponuotas Jogailaičių gobelenas, kuriame pavaizduoti Lenkijos erelis ir Lietuvos Vytis ir kurį užsakė Lenkijos karalius ir Lietuvos didysis kunigaikštis Žygimantas Augustas, o pagamintas jis buvo Briuselyje, Flandrijoje, apie 1560 m. Virš lietuviško Vyčio yra pavaizduota Gedimino kepurė, o virš lenkiško erelio yra pavaizduota Lenkijos karūna. Taip pat ant Lenkijos erelio krūtinės yra pavaizduota Žygimanto Augusto monograma (SA), o centre yra pavaizduota deive Viktorija.
