Jahajghata is a village situated 4 km north from the Upozilla. Here situated 'Jahajghata Noudurga' established at the reign of King Pratapadittya. His usable boats were built and repaired in this place. Kaligannj-Shyamnagar paved road that space today, there was the river Zamuna. And on either side of the Zamuna River Pratapadittya built in a planned way "Jahajghata Noudurga". As a result of the reform of the Department of Archaeology of the previous model have survived. Currently there are five-room building, which is 100 long and 206 wide. In Five room there is a common room for sitting, an office, a shipbuilding equipment for keeping, a staff for a bath and a room used as a bedroom.
