Description
English: Jakob Probst (1880.1966), Friedhof der reformierten Kirche in Reigoldswil. Der Sämann. Dieser Gestalt begegnet man oft auf Friedhöfen des reformierten Teils der Nordwestschweiz. Er ist ein Symbol, das im so genannten "orthodoxen Protestantismus sehr beliebt zu sein scheint und daher kein Hinweis auf das Bauerntum, wie einige Kritiker von Probst vermutlich geglaubt haben. Der Sämann soll angeblich die Skulptur des Grabmals von Probsts Vater gewesen sein.
