As in a snapshot the painter Jan Baptist Weenix records exactly the moment in which a bird poops on Tobit's head. He just burried a man who was murdered on the street and being unclean as a result of that he has to sleep in a courtyard instead of indoors. The bird droppings would eventually lead to Tobit's blindness. |
