Description
The church was designed by the Danish architect and sculptor Caius Gabriel Cibber and built on Wellclose Square near the Tower in 1696. Cibber spent most of his life in London and was buried in the church. The building was sold in 1868 and demolished in 1870. The inscription at the top gives the purpose and the date, and the architect Cibber is mentioned in the inscription bottom left.
