[edit]Mrs. Jane Wilson, 87 Years Old, Dies. Mrs. Jane Wilson, formerly of Madison, died early Saturday morning at her home in Rockford, Illinois, after a short illness, aged 87. She was born in New York, and was the widow of the late Captain William H. Wilson, who died during the Civil War. Mrs. Wilson is survived by one daughter, Mrs. James Alexander, of Rockford; and two sons, Walter E. and James Voris Wilson, both of Madison. The remains arrived today and the funeral was held this afternoon. Rev. George E. Hunt officiating. Burial was at Forest Hill.
