Čeština: Jaromír Nechanský (* 4. prosince 1916, Praha – 16. června 1950, Praha) byl československý voják, velitel paradesantního výsadku Platinum-Pewter, dvojitý agent OBZ a CIA. Během pražského květnového povstání 1945 působil jako předseda vojenské komise České národní rady (ČNR). Česká národní rada jej pověřila funkcí styčného důstojníka u americké 3. armády, kde se dostal do kontaktu s americkými zpravodajskými důstojníky. Za účast v odboji proti komunistickému režimu byl v roce 1950 odsouzen k trestu smrti.
English: Jaromír Nechanský (* December 4, 1916, Prague - June 16, 1950, Prague) was a Czechoslovak soldier, commander of the Platinum-Pewter paratroopers, double agent of the OBZ and the CIA. During the Prague Uprising of May 1945, he served as chairman of the military commission of the Czech National Council (CNC). The Czech National Council assigned him as a liaison officer to the US Third Army, where he came into contact with US intelligence officers. He was sentenced to death in 1950 for his participation in the resistance against the Communist regime.
