Description
English: The Jefferson County Courthouse in Port Townsend WA stands out against the glowing sunset on a June evening. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, this grand building was constructed from 4 million bricks and it was completed in 1892. The architect was Willis A. Ritchie. Port Townsend (founded in 1851) has a population of 9,300. It is a picturesque Victorian seaport and arts community, approximately 2 hours from Seattle.
