| Description |
Deutsch: Das Jeremiahaus entstand 1964, die künstlerische Ausgestaltung einschließlich der Kirchenfenster (links), des Kreuzes (oben) und des aus Beton gegossenen Altars erfolgte durch Wolfhard Röhrig. In den Altar integriert ist ein bronzenes Taufbecken; die wellenförmige Durchbrechung des Betons im linken Bereich versinnbildlicht das Wasser der Taufe. Die rechte Seite des Altars weist mit Ähre und Weinrebe auf das Abendmahl hin. Über dem Altar hängt ein Kreuz, in dessen Mitte sich ein klarer Bergkristall befindet als Zeichen des auferstandenen Jesus. Seit der Schließung der Jeremiahauses 2006 befindet sich der Altar auf dem Geusenfriedhof in Köln-Lindenthal. Das Foto muss spätestens im Herbst 1990 entstanden sein, denn der Papierabzug trägt einen maschinellen Aufdruck "November 90". (Solche wurden üblicherweise nur bei Entwicklungen mit Erstabzügen aufgebracht, daher dürfte das Foto auch nicht wesentlich vor 1990 gemacht worden sein.) |
