English: Jyotsna "Jo" Heckman is an Indian-born American retired banker. The daughter of a University of Fairbanks Alaska professor, she was associated with the Fairbanks-based Denali State Bank for its first quarter century in business, where she became the first female bank president in Alaska's history. She retired from the bank in 2011, the same year she was appointed to the University of Alaska Board of Regents by Governor Sean Parnell. She is photographed here in her role as the board's chair, where she resided over a joint meeting of regents with the Alaska Board of Education. This took place at the University of Alaska Southeast Recreation Center on September 14, 2016.
