Deutsch: Johann Heinrich Müller, 1825-1894: Zürich, das Bodmerhaus (Haus zum oberen Schönenberg, Schönberggasse 15; einst im Besitz von Johann Jakob Bodmer, 1698-1783). Aquarellierte Tuschzeichnung, 21 x 30 cm. – Die Umgebung ist wohl frei gestaltet, möglicherweise inspiriert vom Begriff "Bodmereiche" (Eiche im Wald von Fontainebleau, benannt nach dem Maler Karl Bodmer, 1809-1893). Das Bild könnte auch stilistisch von Karl Bodmer beeinflusst sein.
English: Johann Heinrich Müller, 1825-1894: Zurich, the "Bodmer house" (named after Johann Jakob Bodmer, 1698-1783, to whom it once belonged).
