Description

This Airbus A340-211 first flew on January 13, 1993 (one of the oldest 340s - c/n 9). It was destined for Lufthansa as D-AIBB. However, the four-holer never flew for the German flagcarrier and went to the Government of Brunei - during seven years within the sultan's fleet it wore three (!) registrations: V8-BKH, V8-JP1 and V8-AM1. Between August 2000 and December 2008 it served the Jordanian Government. It has been in storage since then.

It is pictured on a visit during the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2008.

In the meantine Jordan's got another, less conspicuous corporate jet (Airbus A318 VQ-BDD):
