English: Pictorial set rediscovered in 1915 in Santo da Serra Church on the island of Madeira, then acquired by Américo Olavo and restored in Lisbon by Luciano Freire. It was later sold to the antique dealer Adolphe Weiss, of Vienna, Austria, and again operated upon. It was acquired by the Portuguese state in 1954, and then exposed at the National Museum of Ancient Art, where moved to the Sacred Art Museum of Funchal.
Português: Conjunto pictórico redescoberto em 1915 na Igreja do Santo da Serra, na ilha da Madeira, depois adquirido por Américo Olavo e restaurado em Lisboa por Luciano Freire. Foi vendido mais tarde ao antiquário Adolphe Weiss, de Viena de Áustria, e novamente intervencionado. Foi adquirido pelo estado português em 1954, e depois exposto no Museu Nacional de Arte Antiga, de onde transitou para o Museu de Arte Sacra do Funchal. |
