Description
Español: 24-Sep-2016 Toma de posesión de Carmelo Zammit del cargo de Obispo de Gibraltar en la Catedral católica de Santa María la Coronada.

Tras la procesión de obispos y sacerdotes por la Calle Real hasta una Catedral abarrotada con las puertas totalmente abiertas (no cerradas, como era costumbre) allí se encontró con el Obispo Heskett, administrador apostólico y el rector de la Catedral, Monseñor Paul Bear.

A la ceremonia de toma de posesión y eucaristía asistieron, entre otros, el Ministro Principal de Gibraltar, Fabián Picardo, y el Gobernador de Gibraltar, Ed Davis. Además, asistió en representación del gobierno maltés el Ministro Stefan Buontempo, ya que en Malta fue ordenado Zammit Obispo de Gibraltar.

Otras personalidades en el evento: Daniel Feetham, líder de la oposición parlamentaria, el portavoz del Parlamento y Alcalde de Gibraltar,Adolfo Canepa, el Viceministro Principal, Joseph García, el Ministro Joe Bossano y el ex Ministro Principal, Peter Caruana
