Description
Español: El presidente Alberto Fernández recibió hoy en su despacho de Casa Rosada a las autoridades del grupo minero francés Eramet, quienes anunciaron una inversión de 400 millones de dólares para retomar la construcción de una planta de litio en la Argentina, que generará más de 2.000 puestos de trabajo, en el marco del programa que lleva adelante el Gobierno nacional para el desarrollo de la explotación y la industrialización de ese mineral.

El Jefe de Estado se reunió con Daniel Chavez Díaz, CEO de Eramine Sudamérica SA, filial local de Eramet, quien le confirmó la inversión anunciada hoy por la compañía en París y que implica la construcción, junto a la siderúrgica china Tsingshan, de una planta de litio en el salar “Centenario-Ratones” en Salta con una capacidad de 24.000 toneladas y que entrará en servicio a comienzos de 2024.

Participaron del encuentro el canciller Santiago Cafiero; el ministro de Economía, Martín Guzmán; y el ministro de Desarrollo Productivo, Matías Kulfas. Por parte de Eramine, también estuvo el director de la empresa, Juan Archibaldo Lanús.
