Description
English: Convento de Madre de Dios (Sevilla). Los Marqueses del Valle de Oaxaca eran patronos de la capilla mayor del Convento de Madre de Dios (Sevilla). Hija de Carlos Ramírez de Arellano y Mendoza, II Conde de Aguilar de Inestrillas, y de Juana de Zúñiga y Guzmán. Segunda esposa de Hernán Cortés. Esculpido en mármol de Génova por Juan de Oviedo y de la Bandera y Miguel de Adán (1590), posiblemente contratado por Fernando Enríquez de Ribera (†1594).
