Description
English: The eastern facade of the so called Judenhof (Yews Court) in the center of Güssing. It has been used by the former largely Yewish population in the 19th century for residental purpose and also housed some shops. It thus allowed the Yews to stay within the buildings premises during Sabbath.
Deutsch: Die Ostfassade des sogenannten Judenhofes in Güssing. Das Gebäude wurde im 19. Jhdt. von der großen jüdischen Bevölkerung als Wohngebäude genutzt und beherbergte auch Geschäfte. Dadurch erlaubte es den Juden am Sabbat innerhalb der Gebäudemauern zu bleiben.
