Cette statue a été érigée en 1920. À l'origine son socle comportait des plaques en bas-relief aujourd'hui disparues: "le char d'Apollon passant devant le soleil éclipsé" et "Jules Janssen s'échappant de Paris assiégé en ballon". Cliché personnel libre de droits. Rien ne permet d'identifier l'auteur de la sculpture. On peut supposer que, vu l'âge, l'œuvre est dans le domaine public. |
