Dansk: Natlig transport i juli 1901 af et damplokomotiv gennem gaderne fra Smith, Mygind og Hüttemeiers fabrik på Nørrebro til Københavns Godsbanegård ved Kalvebodstand.
Vejvæsenets største damptromle var spændt for lokomotivet og halede det langsomt gennem Nørrebrogade over Dronning Louises Bro ad Vendersgade, Boulevarden, Vesterbros Passage forbi Frihedsstøtten og ned til godsbanegården. På billedet passerer ekvipagen nuv. Nørre Farimagsgade 29. Den ejendommelige transport vakte stor opsigt, hvor den kom frem, og efterhånden fulgtes den af en stedse voksende skare natteravne. |
