Español: Desde hoy jueves, 20 de diciembre, Julia mira Madrid desde su pedestal de la plaza de Colón. Esta escultura de 12 metros de altura, firmada por el artista barcelonés Jaume Plensa permanecerá un año, hasta el 20 de diciembre de 2019, en el antiguo pedestal que ocupaba el marino genovés. Su instalación inaugura un novedoso programa artístico organizado por el Ayuntamiento de Madrid, que consiste en mostrar, durante un año, una obra artística seleccionada por concurso público en dicho pedestal de la plaza de Colón. El proyecto cuenta con el mecenazgo de la Fundación María Cristina Masaveu Peterson (FMCMP) durante las tres primeras convocatorias. |
